GED Orientation Class

Our GED Orientation classes will prepare you for the actual GED exams.  Our workshop on test-taking strategies is a great place to start!  Review math, practice with the GED calculator, and brush up on the rules of Algebra and Geometry.  The Essay Writing workshop will have you writing in style.  You will be taking the applicable GED Pre-Test each review session.  Once you have completed this 15 hour course, you will be fully prepared to take the actual GED tests.

General Equivalency Diploma

The GED is a diploma which can be earned by passing a five-part exam in the areas of writing, social studies, science, reading and mathematics. A GED can open the door to further education and improve employment opportunities. Candidates must be at least 17 years old, a Maine resident, and have not been enrolled in a public school for at least one year. Those candidates under 18 must complete a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. Accommodations on the GED Test are available for qualified individuals.
